I think we all have heard that phrase before, it's not just one single thought though. I think we have all heard that phrase before after getting dumped, cheated on or a women just checked out of a relationship for whatever reason and you were left all alone to deal with the outcome, fallout.
That phrase along with "there are plenty of fish in the sea", are words with double meaning. It can be seen as a nice gesture from a friend or family member, they are simply trying to cheer you up stating that there are plenty of women out there for you to be with, you will find someone new and better.
It can also used as a way of trying to say, get over her already, it's not a big deal, you're making a big deal out of nothing for no reason! Stop being such a loser and man up, move on! Get over her already, you look so pathetic right now.
In reality although there maybe a billion women to date, you are obviously not going to date the whole world. You can't date every single girl out there, and you're choices are also cut short because of where you live, what you do for a living, your personal preferences in a girl, how much you make, how handsome, fit you are, etc. So in reality your choices are very limited, to what you really have available to you.
The reason I say this to you is because although you may have a few choices, maybe even a couple hundred or maybe more. In the end it really doesn't matter, it only takes "ONE" of these girls to fuck you over and screw your life over after a bad marriage or a bad relationship, your health and your bank account will be effected forever. You marry once and get divorced raped, how much is that "ONE" girl out of a billion going to effect your life? What are your chances of finding the "ONE" after you get divorced raped?
The phrase awalt comes to mind as well. As if there might be this unicorn out there that may exist. You keep hoping to find her after countless relationships with women. When you find yourself in a relationship and it doesn't work out, you learn a couple of things from that particular women you dated. Then you date another and it doesn't work out and you learn something new about that girl, all these things you learn are things you experience in that relationship like manipulation, mental abuse, physical abuse, lying, cheating, amoral behavior. After awhile of dating around, you get this bad taste in your mouth, you carry around with you all those past trauma's. Most guys don't usually date a lot, and the reality is you probably shouldn't be dating a lot, because of the implications that it has, when you move from relationship to relationship, it does something to you, it effects your brain, pair bonding and all that, your brain releases chemicals when you are in "love". What does that do to your brain, when you hop from one relationship to another, it probably isn't healthy?
In the red pill subreddit, they say you have to have this I don't give a fuck (idgaf) attitude. Ask yourself if this is healthy? They have this phase they like to call the "anger phase", where you learn to accept how amoral women are and how amoral they are about choosing who they sleep with, end up in a relationship with. This hurt and angry feelings are the result of being treated bad or an injustice that you may have felt. You don't just simply get over these feelings just because you accept them, no, a deeper reaction, connection is happening in your brain when you do that, when you disconnect from women, it doesn't just effect your relationship with women, it changes your relationship with other people, it changes you! You carry this idgaf attitude in other aspect of your life, because it something that your brain uses as a coping mechanism. I'm not a psychologist or a medical doctor but I really don't know if that is a healthy way to look at life or at people. It could be good or it could be bad. I feel that, that type of mentality can bring good things but can bring bad things along with it. That is the mentality you have to have though, in order for you to go out in the dating scene, you NEED that IDGAF attitude, or else you're going to have a bad time. Sometimes I feel as though that attitude is forced upon you and not something you adopt or learn, it stays with you. It becomes a part of you.
You know who else has an IDGAF attitude? Soldiers that have seen real combat and have seen countless people die. They really don't give a fuck and how many times have we seen how they end up? Mentally they don't give a fuck but they are fucked up, in the head. I think that happens (ptsd) because of all that trauma they keep receiving and keep bottled up inside, no matter how much they accept them or move past them, like when you are out there dating around jumping from a bad realtionship to the next, perhaps that is what idgaf attitude is, some type of ptsd coping mechanism after bottling up so much bad feelings from past relationships.
I think if you go out in the world and try to find your awalt, you will end up with an idgaf attitude after getting burned by so many women, you end up feeling numb to all of it. That will effect you in the long run, you may not notice it but eventually you will feel it in certain aspects of your life, a disconnection from people, the world. I think that's one of the reasons that so many guy's end up killing themselves after being in bad relationship with so many women, after each failed relationship that idgaf attitude or that hate, anger, depression and sadness manifests into something horrible if it is not kept in check. You really don't have a choice in the matter though, if you go out in the world and try to find a girl or women to be in a relationship, you will have to deal with a lot of that, and that idgaf attitude you "accept" will have it's draw backs. It's only a coping mechanism for being treated badly, and you are going to be treated badly, no amount of idgaf attitude will erase the fact that you just got laughed at, humiliated, cheated on and got played etc. With how women are in today's society left unchecked the way they are, things will only be bad for you, you can't win.
There maybe a billion women out there, but that only means there are a billion ways to fuck your life over! You don't need to date a lot of women, maybe 2 or 4 girls are enough to effect you, because those relationships do something to you, you leave feelings behind after you breakup, after you get divorced, it changes you, it makes you look at relationships different. You can't say that committing yourself 100 percent mind, body and soul to a marriage, relationship and then you end up divorced or broken up, that it doesn't effect you, negatively? No matter how much you accept it or are forced to accept it, it hurts, it changes you forever.
