It's been about a year since I've been there and I was close by, so I dropped in for dinner. Go to the bathroom to wash my hands and where the Men's room used to be there's a sign on the door that says Unisex. So I'm like WTF. Pull on the door and it's locked. Turn around and there's a Ladies room. So I figure if they can't provide a Men's room, I'll use the Ladies room. I was planning to leave the toilet seat up just for grins. Door's locked.

So I walk back to the main room and asked where the Men's room is. They pointed to the Unisex room. I told them the door sign said Unisex and I'm not unisex, I want to use the Men's room. Naturally they looked at me like I was crazy. I meant it all as sort of a joke but was getting pissed off at this point. So I went to the hostess station where there were three girls working and again asked for the Men's room and they pointed in the direction of the Unisex room. So I told them the same thing. That's Unisex, I'm not unisex. I'm a man and I'd like to use the Men's room. One got pissed, one ignored me, and one played along. She pointed to another hallway where there was a Men's room. Finally.

Society is changing in insidious ways. In time, it will all seem normal because it's the only way people will remember. Those of us who were around before will all be gone.
