Overall, I like that subreddit. I was reading childfree stuff for years before I knew about reddit so it's just another platform for it. I also knew about childfree long before I ever discovered mgtow. In fact well over a decade before, through the alt.support.childfree newsgroup mainly. It was a similar revelation experience to finding both.

However, while there's a large overlap in rejecting the lifescript, mgtow ideals would be very badly received over there and quite likely censored. In their most recent demographics survey 2/3 of subscribers were women which is probably why it seems pro relationship and marriage. Loads of commenters mentioning their "hubby". If there are any mgtows posting over there they'll keep any mgtow sentiments either private or filtered to be more acceptable. You will get posters harshly criticising women/breeders over there but with the understanding that it's just one-off venting about individuals and they'd hate the generalisations mgtow make about women.

Anyway, I enjoy reading both even if they don't mix too well. I don't see this is as a problem as there are different subreddits for different discussions/ideas.

Most posts can be chalked up to a cry for external validation. It turns into an ironically circlejerking hugbox.
