So this mom was hateful, contributed nothing to the relationship and refused to change her ways... yet she honestly expected her husband to stay with her, even though she made him miserable... all because he took a wedding vow. What about her own wedding vows where she promised to love and cherish him?

This is true female solipsism. . The only thing that matters to women is their own state of mind and the way they perceived things. Their reality isn't based on facts or truths... but rather their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Also.. you know things had to of been pretty bad when even her own children are willing to call her out for being such a shitty spouse.

As shitty as it sounds, I genuinely think middle aged women are the worst demographic on the planet.

Because shit gets real when you're not attractive just for existing any more. Welcome to the world men live in, they have to learn the lesson later in life after 30 years and it's a shock and it makes them bitter.
Women who actually developed a personality rather than using their looks as a crutch to get them through life actually get along OK though, I've noticed

Yeah. My mom was the cheater and the divorce initiator. Yet somehow convinced my sisters that my dad is in the wrong and she was right to leave him like that. They put her on a pedestal. I feel you man.

My father in-law's ex wife did that to him as well. It was so bad that he has a son with whom he is just now reconnecting after something on the order of 20+ years because of the lies she told about how terrible he was. Instead it was her that was the cheater.

I saw the same thing happen with my mom and sister. My mother called my dad a drunk all my life because he had the audacity to go out to a bar with his friends after getting off an eight-hour shift in a combine factory (at which he made enough to keep his family in an upper-middle-class home. Mom didn't work). My younger sister grew up hating my dad, who worked his ass off and loved us all unconditionally, because of my mother, who continued to say he was abusive, a 'drunk', anything she could come up with, even though she never went without because of him. That dynamic stayed that way until Dad passed last year. He said she was the love of his life and he never begrudged her anything, but she was evil to him. I haven't spoken to anyone in my family since dad passed, partly because I couldn't stand the way they treated him right up until his last day. It was bad. He deserved better

I love reading threads like this and hearing people's experiences that illustrate red pill truths about female nature. That entire thread is a full of nuggets about shitty women doing shitty things during/after a divorce.

My parents aren't divorced, but you can tell my mom isn't satisfied with their marriage anymore. I'm 27, my brother is 13 and my sister is 7. They don't have the energy to raise children like they used to, yet my dad still busts his ass at work, gets the kids ready for school, picks them, up, does the laundry, cooks dinner, takes care of the yard and any other "projects" my mom concocts. He irons all of her work clothes and really does so so much for the family. Yet she bitches and complains about how he never does anything and he's so lazy and she doesn't like him anymore. He's romantic and surprises her with flowers and gifts he thinks she will like on random occasions. Recently his..er, junk, stopped working and she seems to think he's not sexually attracted to her anymore and that makes her mad. Like mom, really? He has a fucking medical condition! Give the guy a fucking break. It really breaks my heart to see her treat him like he is worthless. He is a very social person and mom is a hermit and won't let him have friends. He tries to get her to go to his company Christmas parties and She's a total grinch about it. Growing up, I always thought my dad was kind of a jerk, but now that I'm older, I'm realizing my mom is the jerk. She only stays with him for the kids. So sad. I almost wish they would divorce just so my dad could be with someone who would actually appreciate him, but he's still madly in love with her despite the fact that each year that goes by, she treats him worse and worse... :(
