What is your rush and who are you trying to impress? Save your money and live with the family unless they are abusive or negligent. Learn to communicate and compromise with them and you can see it be worth it.

You can usually rent a room at your local YMCA but if you do that you're going to be sharing a communal bathroom with a bunch of losers.

Whatever you do, get away from your family (I mean, move out from their house ASAP). Trust me, they want you out too but maybe are too nice and never said anything.

Well whats your plan? Mine was to snowboard, I told my folks I would like to live here until Im 24 and then Ill move out, since I worked a full time job and went to school they were okay with that. Man seriously there were years where I went 5-6 days every dam week, none of my friends could afford to keep up with me. Even on days I worked I would go snowboard from 9-12 head down the mountain get lunch and then go into work at 2, thats what I did every winter for 5 years straight my god was it fucking awesome. I wouldnt trade that time in my life in for anything in the world. But depends a lot on your family, my parents are pretty chill and they use to work a bunch so I would normally only see them on the weekends not during the weekday. If its to much drama then you should probably look into getting away. Idk where you live but if you might be able to find a little apartment type of deal over someones garage if you live in areas that have that. My apartment only costs 586 a month and that covers water, you just got to look around.

...if you have a bad situation at home, by all means move out, but if it's a good situation with your family then stay there...save your money...educate yourself...develop some lifelong hobbies and most importantly...stay single.
