I have no idea why your mother would do that. If I married a single mother with 2 kids my mom would be really depressed.
This MGTOW thing is pretty convincing and the idea of being a bachelor sounds great, but geez... my mother is a good woman and I love her dearly even if I'll never another woman on this earth.
Edit: im not disparaging your decision, you obviously made the right choice here, no doubts about it. Your mother is... weird, though, because I dont see what she is trying to get out of it. If she wants to land you with a match she shouldnt convince you to settle for so little.

Heh heh- It's ok, you don't have to sugar coat it, I know it is my mother, and some people are sensitive about that, but not me. She's not the best person to take parenting, or relationship advice from. She's got that original ho 2.0 hamster, that says you must be hooked up, like the Terminator says it must follow programming.
It is what it is, or eso si que es, as we say in Spanglish.

Even ignoring the MGTOW angle, marrying someone who has been married that many times is like playing Russian Roulette with five bullets, even normal pro-marriage people would advise you against marriage and divorce more than three times.
