I used to compartmentalized each individual woman and relationship I was in. I could not figure out why each relationship ended a certain way. I changed and developed myself, did all the things I could do to self-evolve and still the results were the same.

Like putting money into a slot machine and never winning or overtime you win less and less. Then you find out that the game is programmed that way so that you will ultimately lose.

When I found MGTOW and realized I was one of the few people that didn't realize a woman's nature (hypergamy) ---> that the game was rigged.

Now I notice it everywhere I go, at work, at home. I can now predict a woman's behavior like a Google algorithm and so far, I haven't been wrong since.

This reddit sub doesn't consist of a guys opinions and then finding evidence to validate those opinions, this subreddit is about guys (some guys) that lost everything playing the slot machines and finally figured out that the machine was programmed that way and most of us choose to abstain from playing the slots again.

We always hear from people that say, Not ALL Slot Machines Are Programmed That Way...

Well, to use a recent metaphor in politics... if you have a bowl of skittles and 3 of those skittles are NOT poison, are you going to eat them?

The ratio is not even close to the Pareto Principle 80/20. It literally is 90/10 or 95/5. So personally I choose to abstain from women as much as possible. For now. Perhaps in a year or two, I may relax a bit, but I will talk with women now knowing the game they play with my eyes wide open.

Depends on what you mean by devoted and compassionate. An evolutionary argument suggests that men are going to be able to love with fewer conditions than women because they are the reproductive bottleneck.

Females of most mammalian species have to put themselves way ahead of the males in terms of the survival priority because of the relative scarcity of eggs vs sperm, gestation periods making them more vulnerable than males, etc. One male can keep a species going far easier than the other way around.

With that as the fundamental assumption, across not just human biology, but much of the animal kingdom - female behavior can be reinterpreted.

Even devoted and compassionate women aren't unconditionally devoted and compassionate, they are conditionally devoted and compassionate - when it suits their interests to do so. This doesn't necessarily even have to be consciously mercenary on their part, although sometimes it is.

Sometimes a woman WILL really have genuine devotion to a man. Her feelings will be real, but they are often driven by circumstances that neither she nor her mate understand. And when those circumstances change, for instance, her mate becomes sick or maimed, loses his job, or if a more attractive rival comes into the picture - all of a sudden the other side of female nature is manifested.

And it's not like she wasn't putting herself first before, her devotion and compassion WAS the way she was putting herself first - just not in maybe a way that either she or her mate understood.

I'm not speaking for MGTOW in general - but the question then becomes - what are you looking to get out of your interactions with the opposite sex? If it's devotion and compassion, then you have to make a guess about how likely it is that the CIRCUMSTANCES around you both will be such that it catalyzes those feelings in her, because it has far less to do with your character than those other things I described. This in turn, has to be balanced around the consequences - emotional, financial, or whatever - should circumstances change. Many here have decided it's not worth it. Some limit their interaction to sex only, some ghost entirely - and some are in between.

And as for resentment and anger towards women - I think it's entirely appropriate for many men (and probably most) to hold a grudge against them - and women are lucky, that men's biology usually prevents us from acting out against them the way that we would against a male rival.

Here's the deal - I heard somewhere that they've done some tests on people with a certain type of blindness - in that they couldn't consciously recognize faces - but other parts of their brain associated with recognizing facial cues would light up when shown pictures of peoples faces with certain emotive expressions. The problem was that this shouldn't have happened because they were blind - at least in that they couldn't consciously "see" the face and certainly couldn't tell the researcher that it was an angry face because in some sense they had never "seen" a face and wouldn't have been able to consciously link the emotion with the facial expression anyway - they were blind.

What that means is that not all the functions of sight are mapped to the brain in the same way - and certain types of information on how people are reacting to you and perhaps think about you is constantly flowing into your brain past your conscious awareness - but your brain knows - and it remembers.

Now consider the signals that the vast majority of men are absorbing from the opposite sex on a daily basis. They are probably getting all of those negative judgements and signals (the signals that mean that they aren't "good enough") pushed right into their brain without even knowing that it's happening - the same way that the blind person in the experiment did.

And you're telling me that after a lifetime of absorbing that sort of toxicity into the unconscious brain, it's extreme to harbor resentment?

I can only say I strongly disagree.

Women are as amazing, devoted and compassionate as context needs them to be. Also, never underestimate your own ability to put up with things you would not normally put up with. Under the guise of "love" and "romanticism" men do a lot without ever asking themselves where it leads to and what they actually stand to gain.

I was always feeling very unhappy when not in a relationship, because I would be shamed into thinking I would be happier with a "nice" girl. Whenever I would get into a relationship it felt like a burden had fallen from my shoulders. But mostly after a few months, after lots of shit tests and mental abuse by these women, I would feel I would be happier without being a slave to her emotional state.

There may be amazing women out there but there is two problems: 1) How many are there? How many times will you play the game to find one?

2) A woman that is amazing now will probably not be amazing in 10 years time. Why would I invest half of my assets into a marriage with her? No rational person would invest half into a home that very likely will lose all of its value in 10 years.
