In the end we split and we were better off for it. She was exceptionally bitter and not happy with her station at all. Long before I showed up. I guess being as old fashioned as she is, middle age hit her hard and she felt she needed to keep trying.

i have an ex who had a few years on me and she told me she needed someone who was more mature. upon closer inspection most of her friends are between 19-23 and act like they're still in high school, she's 29. she tends to hop between younger guys and i was actually on the older side at 25. probably because guys 30 and over want prettier and younger with less baggage, and upon closer inspection you find out that she's got some serious loose nuts and bolts, they probably do a better job of early detection.
