So long story short I share an office with a small trading firm. Basically I have my own office slash safe space to manage my finances with. No boss no nothing. I'd explain it further but I don't think it's as important to the story. So basically the other two guys I share the office with are actually good friends of mine. They have their silly company logo on the front and pretend that they provide financial services instead of just trading with their personal funds. We share our floor with a temp agency that's all women. One particular harpie snuck in asking for our manager. My friend played along for shits and giggles. She pitches their HR services to us and like 5 minutes in my buddy cuts her off. He goes on a somewhat different rant about his challenges hiring people and how too many women apply. "Not once have we ever hired a woman here for longer than an hour", then goes full borat. She literally huffs off in a panic. Now like I said there's no reason why any of us would hire anyone. We are more like customers of financial products we don't sell, represent, or offer any goods or services. This woman never caught on to this. And by some supreme bullshit I've got a letter with my name on it from the HRC to contact them in regards to a compliant against my company. One I don't have a company. Two the company you have listed is a fictional one created by people I'm only leasing a space with. A quick google search would have only gotten you a stocktwits handle and perhaps a blog page from 2013. So I've fired back to this ombudsman while Cc'ing the bitch who tried pitching us her temps. To be fair having a fake company logo design without a name on the door might be deceiving but our space is listed only as blank and blank trading partners. I just didn't think anyone in their right mind could have missed the sarcasm coming from a guy wearing a def leopard t-shirt with $200 pants and $1200 running shoes. I had to cover my mouth so my giggling wouldn't interrupt his bizzare nonsensical rant. Thinking of changing the name on the door to hugh mungus trading corp now. I still don't think they will get it. Even after this email she's probably not going to understand that were unemployed traders not actual employers shilling some garbage.
