Thank the Silicon gods that AMD rehired the man himself Jim Keller to build their new Zen CPU architecture. Sucks that we have to wait until Q3 or Q4 in 2016 to finally get it but when we do Intel can kiss my lily white ass from here on out.

I really want to support AMD because of this, but they haven't released anything that makes want to upgrade from my 2500k that I bought in 2011.

Hopefully the new cores next year will be competitive.

I googled more about it and found so many conspiracy theories that gave me headaches. Still, 300 mil is quite something to think about it, indeed. Does anyone knows more about the story behind this? Is this about blackmailing? 300 mil seems to much for just a PR stunt.
