I always felt O'Brien really got screwed over with his marriage, even in the TNG episode where it happened Keiko was constantly calling it off. That should have been a warning sign for him, then she tried to change his eating habits, and then she has two children but then also wants to be an adventuring botanist.

Early Bashir did run after Dax way too much, it became painful.

Quark's mother irritated me and I could put up with Lwaxana. She'd probably be the one running the Alliance even though Rom got named as Nagus.

I'm pretty sure Odo could have done better than Kira, no idea why he put her on a pedestal, he even helped her several times when she was a labourer/slave/terrorist back during the occupation.

I'm guessing Kira had father and mother issues. She also kind of had a thing for Thomas Riker who turned out to be a sort of terrorist.
