I vote not to post articles written solely to express the limited opinions of whiney people unless they have some impact on my life or show some statistic. No wonder they get so fat so quick with all the drinking. Unhealthy eating is bad already but you add drinking to the mix and you make the process twice as fast. What's personal responsibility?

How about they drink because they literally have no other hobbies (if you can somehow consider drinking a hobby?) Seriously look at any dating site, ask any girl what she likes to do for fun. What do they do on the weekends? Drink at the bars or watch netflix. What do I do? Well this weekend I built a retro gaming console on Friday, spent the day volunteering at a world war 2 armor museum Saturday, and Sunday I went paintballing. I also finished Stephen King's recent book. I best most of the guys on here, probably have had more interesting weekends this past weekend than half the chicks in the US.

So she has an alcohol problem and decided to quit drinking, but her resolve is tested frequently, causing her to cry and eat ice cream a lot. So she concocts this conspiracy in her head that women only drink because of patriarchal oppression to use as her excuse for struggling with staying sober.

She goes on with more anecdotes as viewed through a very feminist lens with the underlying theme staying the same. "I am unhappy, being unhappy makes me want to drink, AND IT'S ALL MEN'S FAULT!".

This is why women will never be happy. Their priority in analyzing their unhappiness is always in finding excuses for it, not solutions.

I find it interesting, as an aside, that women have a hard time finding mentors in business... Women lack the skills (or natural predilections) to be successful in business and need [male] guidance and mentoring.

They think it's a glass ceiling. Or patriarchy. Or alcohol. Or "unfairness" in business (seeking equality and government intervention, in order to make business "fair" and less competitive).

Yes, mentors are nice, and wouldn't it be dreamy if you didn't need a competitive advantage in order to succeed in the marketplace where people can shop around for the best deal... I think many women have an unrealistic view of how the economic reality works. No one is just going to give you market share - even in a fascist, mercantile, oligarchical, or any market economy. Granted, you could destroy the market and thereby impoverish people (like in communism), but, even then, one must have a competitive advantage by bribing a commissar, or the like.

Fairness doesn't exist. The desire for equality is delusional.
