Summary: Polarization is what moves you forward or backward in relationships. To be someone worth investing time into, be it sexually, or with any relationship, you need to learn how to create lasting impressions on the people you meet.

Body: If you've read Models by Mark Manson (definite RP read in my opinion), you'll remember that he focuses a lot on the concept of polarization, which is the process of eliciting a response from of the party, be it positive or negative, as quickly as possible.

Why Polarization

If you're a current/reforming Nice Guy™, the biggest reason why you've sucked with women to this point is because you've sucked at polarizing. You thought that the best way to get into her pants was be being interested in her thoughts and activities, instead of making her interested in what you bring to the table. Let's delve deeper into why you were (or maybe still are) struggling with this.

You were afraid to turn her away

Perhaps your biggest passion in life is the heavy metal band you play for on the weekends. But you think that it may turn her away from you. Or perhaps you stuck to easy topics like where she's from, her job, and her hobbies. This is the rut that the Nice Guy™ finds himself in. He wants to bang the girl, but he believes it can be done by being "there for her" and supplicating to whatever she wants, or what she appears to want.

You don't have anything that polarizes her

I think this a product of just living a mediocre life. In Models, Manson spends most the book talking about improving your own life before you even go out an try to pick up women. In this case, you're average. You have an average skinnyfat body, have average hobbies like most other guys (sports, movies, "hanging out", etc), average life success, and average ambitions. Having a good personality doesn't count, as the Nice Guy™ tends to believe. If this sounds like you, then you need to work on developing a better standard of living, more for your own happiness then for the sake of pussy. So now, how do we actually start to polarize women?

Lift/Be Attractive

Obvious, but nevertheless, critical to polarizing women in a positive way. If she sees you as a potential alpha sex partner before you even open your mouth, you're ahead of most guys in the game. Being attractive also includes dressing well and speaking well (not that high pitched voice a lot of dudes have today), so work on that. Plenty of resources available on those if you look.

Have Broad and Interesting Hobbies

Again, this should be more for your sake then anything, but it definitely does matter when it comes to polarization. So I go back to the heavy metal example before. Say that isn't her thing. But you also do rock climbing and enjoy Latin dancing, which pique her interest. Boom, now you've got some overlap, and it's very easy to use that to land a date, which both of you would probably enjoy. Even if that doesn't happen, engaging in activities that you enjoy is a great way to potentially socialize and invest your free time. If you have time to watch an entire season of your favorite show in 1 or 2 days, you have time to pick up a new hobby. If you can't think of any, write down 3 things you've always wanted to do in your life. That's a good starting place.

Conclusion

Ultimately, you're expressing all this because it's what you like, and it entertains you. If she wants to hop along on the awesomeness that is your life, fantastic. If not, that's alright, there's always someone else around the corner. Now I understand that if you're goal is to bang as many hot sluts as possible, this may not totally be your thing, and that's okay. Hopefully you still learned a thing or two from this post. But if you're looking to perhaps LTR, or enjoy activities with a chick outside of the bedroom, then this is the first step to finding out who those chicks are.
