My Dad used to make me write reports on great men when I was growing up. This was on top of my own school work. Hated it then, thankful for it now. I argue that this has contributed to my success, modesty, and intelligence today. Will this also benefit daughters?
Daughter: "Can I go out later with my friends?"
Dad: "Yes, before you do, write me a one page report on the works of Grace Hopper."
Daughter: "But I'm tiiiiireeeeed"
Dad: "Hi Tired, I'm Dad"
Thoughts? Field Reports? Criticism?
