It's not even punishing women for feminism in our case. We are simply walking away. They dug their own grave. I'm personally simply not helping them out of the hole they dug themselves in.

There is this great quote by a writer (whose name and gender I forget. Might have even been a woman..How fitting..) that stuck with me.. I'm paraphrasing :” There is no greater enemy than the one you created yourself.” That's the kind of enemy one loves to fight! What a great challenge..., But in reality there was no patriarchy to smash. No great dragon. It was all in their heads. It was all shadowboxing..But while they fought these shadows with fire and fury, they destroyed many families, children and men. They left a wake of destruction behind them.That destruction is real enough. And now many men don't even care about women anymore. What a victory! Is that the smell of napalm in the morning or just creeping menopause?

They still talk about this ”great power” that men had and somehow lost because of feminism, and we are somehow bitter because of it. What power did we have, pray tell. Most of us were tax livestock and potential cannon fodder. If you said no, then the government shot you. That's the great power that men had. I suppose many men loved ”their” women and thought that all the struggle and death was worth it, because ”at least she loved me”. At least it made it all seem bearable. At least someone in this world cared...Well what a joke that thought turned out to be.

When you understand this, there is no point in fighting feminism. There is no bitterness either. Just some mild melancholy for things that were never really real anyway. The saddest part of feminism is, that it showed how little their ”love” matters and how fickle it is.

Feminist bloggers youtubers and anyone with a megaphone that seems to get a stage these days always tell about "teh trollz" as their primary source of inspiration. Anything they come up with is to silence those pesky unbelievers that take a swipe at them online. What is more dangerous is that somehow the failed logic that comes out of these reality bending sessions ends up affecting people in the real world.

Do you know what I read?

The panic of a thief who has been caught in the act; a hysterical attempt to come up with something--anything--to exculpate herself.

On the one hand, men are "pathetic" and "sad." On the other hand, they are engaging in "domestic terrorism" that is responsible for "a resurgence of ... rape, assault and murder."

But it was never the "rape, assault and murder" that she is overly concerned about. Specifically, it was a speech given at a J4MB event and, generally, about the concerns men are raising. What is "hate," what is "violent"--more than anything else--is the courage to tell feminists that they are wrong.

She emphasizes a case in detail, a story about a woman (Sue) who was forced to leave her husband because he "became unbearable." But do you know what I (and you) should read there?

"We were best friends, he was a feminist – until words turned to action."

So let us make something perfectly clear, Ms. Alibhai-Brown: we are not your "friends." We are not "feminists." And our words speak the truth. So you have nothing to fear from we MGTOW. We need neither your pity, nor your "concern," nor your lies about us.

What we need is to be left alone. Why is this so hard for you to do?

One chap used to send me abusive racist and sexist emails every single day. So I met him, to take him on in person. But he was so pathetic and hopeless that I pitied him. He was maddened by the fear that white men are doomed.

I have a hard time believing this episode really happened; If you truly believed what you say, you'd hardly invite a "domestic terrorist" who is likely to "rape, assault and murder" you to meet you face-to-face.

But on the off chance you did meet him, he might have owned the argument in a way that made you think that, perhaps, he was right, or at least far more stable and level-headed than you gave him credit for. If this is true, it makes your final lines all the more clear:

Feminists are faced with an unprecedented challenge. This sex war is different from previous ones. While we fight for female rights we must attend to the wounds and rage of the losers. We need a mindful new feminism and creative feminist leadership. Without that, neither men not women can flourish in this tumultuous age.

Indeed feminists are faced with an unprecedented challenge; the old tricks do not work anymore. Men have been far more intelligent, far more disciplined and far more capable than feminists have ever expected; that is what is different. You are no longer facing the likes of Warren Farrell or Mel Feit who still believed the impasse could be breached. You are facing MGTOW, who actually likes the impasse right where it's at, and are not going to be moved by the empty words that worked on our predecessors.

You admonish feminists that they "must attend to the wounds and rage of the losers." But we know that will never happen.

Not only is it difficult to enforce such an injunction when you claim that we are "domestic terrorists," but you fail to see that the only reason feminism exists at all is to ensure that women don't ever have to "attend to the wounds and rage" of any man, especially losers, and absolutely resent anybody who suggests otherwise.

So the only thing we as men are going to possibly receive from this "mindful new feminism" and "creative feminist leadership" is this: more punishment against men, more "zero-tolerance" against men, more shame leveled against men, clothed in a smile.

No thank you.

Unlike what you say, Ms. Alibhai-Brown that, without your feminist leadership, "neither men not women can flourish in this tumultuous age," we who go our own way understand (unlike previous generations), that we men will do just fine in this tumultuous age, with or without your "creative feminist leadership."

All we have to do as men is to do for ourselves, live within our means, speak the truth, avoid women in our personal affairs, and take precautions against them in social affairs. We have had lots of practice doing all of these things, and we will--perhaps for the first time in history--"flourish" as men.

It is women--and only women--who will fail to "flourish" when men do for themselves. And I think you know it too.

i've noticed that too. all these retarded articles tend to be full of mgtow comments. it's a good thing, it makes me feel less alone and i suspect similar for other men. when push comes to shove, i believe that men will stand united. when it comes to women on the other hand, they'll watch her drown. we're slowly coming to what could be an age of female disposability.

I don't know if it bothers anyone else, but what is the feminist tripe being printed in a business newspaper. The chief advantage for the reader of these is that they are supposed to leave out opinion and interpretatin while sticking to facts. Thsi article was in direct conflict with the goal of sticking to facts.

A new sex war is raging around the world. Men feel they are losing control within their homes, communities and nations. They are the unloved, unwanted, sad underclass. None of this is true – except perhaps the sad bit. Countless western males are indeed suffering from internal traumas that remain unarticulated. Tragically, too many become drink or drug addicts or commit suicide. But many more seem to be avenging themselves on females.

Implication being that men are committing suicide and facing depression, addiction, isolation because the patriarchy is failing?
