What a female has to do to be viewed as a good companion (if this is possible at all?)

She 'has to do' exactly the same as a man would, namely, be true to her word and loyal, never undermining or contemptuous, entertainingly intelligent and humorous, derive no financial benefit whatsoever from the friendship, and so on....just as would be expected of a man...or not?...

Edit: I just realized how incredibly lucky I am to have actually known several exceptional women that weren't horrible cunts, leaving me less jaundiced than some o me bredren!

Nope if I find her attractive physically I will always think and will make a move to have sex with them. Not worth it for me and I can't relate with them most of the time.

Ill put it this way, At least with my male buddies reciprocation is possible. With females I know they are only there to benefit something for them. With men in the long term, its "let me offer you my hand brother so that we can enjoy the fruits of life together"

With women its more like "I'm going to see what I can get out of this guy by boosting his self esteem, so that when he doesn't do something for me I can withdrawal and leave him feeling like he has to work for me in order to feel good about himself"

I don't. Because even if you're not attracted to her, she'll orbit you.

However, I do have ONE because she has proved to be a good, loyal friend. That's one from over +100 girls I know/met.

Even if sex is off the table, being just friends can work in your favor, if the girl is genuinely nice.

Increased self esteem
Increased value (ppl think you 2 are dating)
Can be a wingman/wingwoman
etc

Yes you can be friends with a woman as long as they expect nothing more than you'd give to a man. I've had female friends and we get along fine. They can offer different stuff than a guy would.
