I can summarize mgtow (for me) as this:

monogamy/marriage has failed the cost/benefit analysis. Not for me.

Totally agree. It makes me wonder if introducing economics into the school curriculum would help right this boat called society.

Ill give a completely non-woman related example. I had a coworker at a minimum wage job who used to take a cab to work in the morning and the bus back home. His shift was 6 hours long. Recently he moved across town and now has to take a cab both ways. So I told asked him why he doesn't get a job closer to home (ideally walking distance or on a bus route both ways). He says he really would miss his regular customers. So I break it down for him: he's making $50 a day once taxes are taken out, less 2 x $15 for the cab rides, less $5 a day at least for energy drinks and lunch, less $10 a day for his pack a day smoking habit. So he's essentially paying $5 a day for the priviledge of working for a corporation and seeing his regular customers. If it wasn't for his wife's income and generous government child benefits (Canadian here) he would be homeless by now. You should have seen the color drain from his face.

Point I'm trying to make is, this rational way of thinking isn't common sense, it needs to be taught.
