Hanging out last night with some people and my brother noted that no one cares about men fucking men, or men fucking boys. But as soon as someone mentions a man fucking an (18 yo) girl, everyone freaks out because it's "gross" and "disgusting".
As if to prove his point, a girl immediately called him "disgusting", him and all the many men who fuck girls in their prime.
He's in the unfortunate position of unplugging (Thanks MDE-WP and others) while also trying to plug himself back in, and refusing to obey the first rule of fight club.

Asking the 37 year old man to be happy with the 37 year old woman is like asking our 17 year old woman to be willing to date our 57 year old man.

It is a Superficial analogy in the sense that a lot of factors affecting reality havent been considered (for e.g. in the end , the 57 year old guy's look and wealth both matter for him to have success with women ; but for the young 17 year old girl , her wealth and even knowledge dont matter much to a guy , only her looks and feminity , her virginity or her n - count, and having a little intelligence matters) . But nonetheless , this is the perfect explanation to a post wall women who is HAMSTERING and asks "Where have all the men gone ?" , provided ofcourse, she is capable of understanding logic .
And ofcourse there is definitely a lot of comfort in knowing that not even the older guys nor the younger guys want a UGLY-looking post-wall hag . WIN-WIN .

Okay, first they're both 17; then they're 37, both with the minds of 17 year olds: that does make sense, as it's true for many people in the West.
Then the man is 57, but the woman is 17 again. A few years pass and he hasn't improved because he hasn't needed to: in the real world, this is also true for young women. However I don't see why she is distraught: she's 17, not 37. But she continues to get younger every year, and then (?) she's 23, looks 32.
Now, 10 years later, the man is 47! I thought he was a few years past 57? Different guy? And the woman is 27 all of a sudden?
Nope, 10 more years, he is 57 again.
How did the woman get back to 17? Does she get stretch marks from all that? She's 17, then 37, then she's 17 again! From 17, she got younger every year. Then 23, 27, then back to 17!
I'm just pulling your tit, m8. It works, but I don't know that you can call it the "perfect analogy." I appreciate the time you put into this, though. Maybe tighten it up, cause you made me a little dizzy.

She is distraught because she is invisible to men and the world. Yes she knows she is getting younger every year but that doesn't do anything right now. Just like telling a 17 year old boy "don't worry, at 37 women will be falling at your feet", when right now he is getting sand kicked in his face.
The analogy is trying to simulate reality. The reason the woman starts out at 37 and gets younger every year to 17 is that that is essentially what happens to a man. He starts out at 17 with nothing and gets better and better until he reaches his SMV peak at 37.
For a woman being old, broke and lonely is the same as a man being 17. But to make the analogy work she needs to improve every year. That means she needs to get younger and younger until she reached her SMV peak at 17.
The analogy is valid, read it again.

Yeah, the way you wrote it here is clearer. And a hell of lot shorter.
She's distraught on her way from 37 to 17. In the original, not clear to me. If you decide to redo this, maybe treat the man and the woman separately, or just take the man out altogether.
One more thing, analogies should be simple in presentation (can be complex in analysis). An analogy is something you put in one or two sentences.
This is more of a parable: right up your alley, no?

I have noticed the following phenomenon: young couple married their early 20s. Divorce at 30. The Mrs hooks up with a 45 year old.Not even a young looking 45 year old.
