Don't know if you guys have ever read Salon or Huffington Post, but wow! They are about as subtle and low key with their agenda as a SJW-version of Stormfront. Recently they had an article titled, "Can Married Women Be Raped By Their Husbands?"

(exasperated sigh followed by an eye roll)

Subtle, right?

So in the Comment section everyone universally agrees that a woman has the right to refuse sex, just like every human being does. I half-joking pointed out, "Of course women can refuse to have sex with their husbands. It's a human right and a marriage contract doesn't negate their human rights. But let's also keep in mind that a legal marriage is also a sex contract and it does regulate sexual behavior."

Within about a minute there were 50-75 people instantly insulting me and proclaiming that was obviously not true. Then I pointed that it is a sex contract because if a man commits adultery it's considered a legal violation of the marriage contract and grounds for divorce in which a woman can be awarded financial compensation (ie half his money until he dies)

The Feminists did agree that seeking sex outside of the marriage was "illegal" for lack of a better term, but they insisted that refusing to have sex (even for decades of the marriage) was not grounds for divorce and should carry no legal or financial penalties whatsoever.

"But you already agreed that the marriage contract is in part a sexual contract," I rebutted "And you agreed that the man has an explicit and implied obligation to never have sex with anyone other than his wife. Isn't it equally implied by the terms of the marriage contract that a wife has some reasonable expectation of performing sexual duties throughout the duration of the marriage?"

Short answer from the Feminists and White Knights: Hell no!

"So you don't believe in legal equality for women?" I asked. "Men can be penalized for sex within a marriage, why shouldn't women be held to equal levels of responsibility?"

At this point the conversation degenerated into insults and accusations that I was just a "man-child" crying "white privilege tears" or something to that effect. I think their insults are actually on a Word document that they just cut and paste to save time. They must be because they never really vary.

Anyway, just further confirmation that marriage is not really a great idea.
