The only reason the Republicans are having such a hard time shutting down trump is because of how well trump is at informing the general public about these things.. Trump plays the media like a fiddle

I feel your frustration about superdelegates. She's a candidate who cannot formulate logical arguments but frequently resort to that she is a woman in debates and speeches to win support. I normally dislike the GOP, but if, God forbid, she wins Democratic primary, I will vote for the GOP.

Just because most of the superdelegates on the democratic side have pledged their support to Clinton doesn't mean that they are bound to vote for her at the convention. If Sanders wins a majority of the delegates from the primaries and caucuses they will basically be forced to allow him to win the nomination. Going against the popular vote would be suicide for the democratic party. Doing so would surely cause so much outrage amongst democrats that the Republican candidate would win the general election in a landslide.

Look man, Bernie Sanders is against big banks and the like. He has also proposed wiping out the student debt. All this make him highly unfavorable to big banks - student loans are now bigger than sub-prime based derivatives.

Given all this, it is highly unlikely that anyone with power, such as the super-delegates (who form 30% and not 20% as you stated) will allow Bernie to become president.

Now what you say about your votes not mattering is true. But then, their currency doesn't matter either. If you go slowly out of the USD and into XAU, in the long run (you could lose short term) it won't matter what laws these people make.

Only the ones counting the votes matter. That's how every election has ever been. Carlin was right: if voting actually worked it wouldn't be legal.

I don't really care that much about US politics, so take anything i say with a grain of salt.

I can't see any corruption here. These are not general public elections, but instead an inner party selection process. And how a party goes about selecting the person that is going to represent them in an election is up to the party. They could, as far as i care, select their candidates via witchcraft or a bingo contest. If someone doesn't agree with the matter that person can either A try to change the process, or B leave the party and join another.

In conclusion i don't really see what the fuss is all about.

The establishment has to keep the illusion up that people have a say in who gets elected. Once the curtain falls, and it will if the criminal murderess harpy gets elected, things will just fall apart. No one will accept the legitimacy of government. Think rank and file military are going to fight for the harpy? I think not. They might follow orders, but the resistance and subterfuge will be considerable. The whole government depends on popular consent, without it, it just collapses.
