I would like to state my scenario , I am 28 years old, currently i am working in scientific field a job which pays average compared to current living standards, after finishing my master's degree i had worked with reputable cancer research institute in europe, almost all doctoral scholarships that i have applied here explicitly state that they need women in STEM field , so far 3 professors have rejected my application in favour of female candidates. The professor who rejected my application for scholarship later mailed me and he suggested that he will take me as regular Phd student instead of scholarship student ( Since gender diversity quota must fill in). Now i have got some position which pays lesser but this is what i have to live with.
