Hi all,
Just wanted to get some thoughts out. I will say that I have known some decent women in my life, most of which are European or East European. The difference is night and day compared to North American women in terms of not being overly sensitive, being able to understand men, being feminine, and appreciating rather than resenting the differences between men and women. It's scary that these statements aren't based on anecdotes, but on real societal trends.
In North American circles, I am an MGTOW. I want nothing to do with American women, they are beyond saving. They are the most overprivileged group in the West. We have women's studies, women's support groups, special funding for women in STEM fields and broader monetary benefits to women, better rights for women in divorce, affirmative action initiatives for women (I saw a statistic of something like a woman is 2x as likely as man to get a STEM job these days because companies are desperately trying to meet some equality quotas). And yet that is not enough, they need more, until not only men and women completely identical (which will come by crippling men, not by women working hard to reach high standards), but also keep all the benefits of our "patriarchal" society where men toiled long and hard to provide women with a comfortable lifestyle and home life.
What is left of feminism today is pettiness, and adjusting for some "subconscious bias" that men may have in hiring women. I'll tell you that any CEO with half a brain will pick the best worker, not caring whether they are a woman or a man. I will also say, that in the grand scheme of things, this obsession with being just as good as men, has made women ignore what they are good at. Fashion sense, comfort, emotional support, care-taking, etc. have all been thrown out in exchange for sleeping around and pursuing high-end careers, or at least that's the rhetoric feminists push. EVEN if men were to be statistically smarter than women, why would that matter? The whole point of society has been men and women working TOGETHER, not against each other. This is what partly birthed the huge increase in the red pill, and the MGTOW movements. I am all for equal rights and opportunities for women, EVERYONE is (in North America at least), so why all this pettiness and penny counting.
Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, women get treated like servants or lesser beings. Why don't feminists put more effort in amending that? I'll tell you why, because real misogyny is scary. We're not talking about being whistled at and being told you're gorgeous (which if you think about it, if a woman was to do that to a guy, that would be perfectly fine, and we would be flattered), we're talking about getting stoned for not wearing a head scarf. And now "rape" is defined as sleeping with someone and having second thoughts about it the next day. Contrast that with real rape, where women get physically hurt, or even killed afterwards, and in places in the Middle East, a woman can go in jail for adultery if she gets raped and there are no witnesses. How humiliating and morally crushing it must be for a man to be accused of rape, where instead it was just a night of drunk sex. I am not saying rape doesn't happen, it does, and it's scary, and it's a problem, but when you blow the issue to such proportions, you completely trivialize the whole thing.
All these feminists have to understand that men in society worked to make women's lives better. They built washing machines, fridges, and various other comforts so make home life better. They gave up precious years of their life "making" it so they could provide for their partner and family, often through immense stress and working conditions. Clearly, the patriarchy was designed to enslave women and benefit men (sarcasm). Realizing the disparity in fairness, they amended laws to allow for women to vote and work various jobs. Men have been trying to keep the machine well oiled and operational, and it is by their very nature (the one they were genetically encoded with) that they took charge and built society initially with them making all the decisions, because ultimately it was done to protect women and give them a better life.
I will say I feel sorry for young women who think about love, romance, companionship, who want to take care of a man, to marry to have kids, to treat their man with respect and appreciate their masculinity. Not all men can be MGTOW for life, some of us want love, kids, family, etc, but the way it stands right now, it's not worth it in the grand scheme of things given how society is. So these feminists rob young girls of ever being feminine, from exploring what it is to be a woman, instead turning them into a victim that can always blame their inadequacies and hardships in life on men.
Finally, there is a solution to feminism, and it is relabeling it as egalitarianism. But of course, feminists don't want that, why that would take the whole womanly victimhood out of the equation. Now you have to look at both genders at account for both their rights in each situation. Meanwhile, feminism keeps men powerless, because there isn't even a word for the advocacy of men's right. Anyone saying they belong to a men's rights movement is labelled as a chauvinistic pig and misogynist. Another word you'll never hear is "misandrist", you can already understand why. Do I think men should be concerned about their rights? I will say yes - men can only do so much to argue their case, and if feminists constantly invoke political correctness and their victimhood (which sets strong precedents btw), then being a man is going to be very uncomfortable in the future (just think about having to watch every little thing you say in hopes it doesn't offend any women).
Being an MGTOW, we are meant to go our own way, not bitch about the state of things, and forget about relationships with women. But I will say, I fully support spreading logic and reason behind MGTOW, and encouraging men to take back their lives and not fall into this trap. Much as women have learned to support each other, us men have to look for one another too, not to oppose women's oppression, but rather help each other "check out" and lead more meaningful lives until relationships make sense again (if that even happens). From reading about modern feminism and seeing my female colleagues buy into this BS, it doesn't seem things will change for the better anytime soon.
As it has been said many time, and I will repeat it here...
Modern North American feminism is a solution desperately in search of a problem.
