Consider the following:

I've been seeing posts everywhere today praising Chris Mintz (The man who took down the UCC shooter recently while taking a few bullets in the process) and calling him a hero. Before going MGTOW i might have considered him a hero as well, however these days all i see is yet another man who values his life as less than.

The fact that society at large can applaud this act, yet condemn suicide should be an eye-opener to you as to how little you are valued. In the end, what is the real difference? In one case it's to save the lives of others, seen as a net positive to society and considered noble, selfless and heroic, and in the other it's seen as an act of cowardice and selfishness. The common element is of the idea that a man is willing to throw away his life, yet nobody cares to understand why he's willing to do it. If they did, they'd understand why women don't do it.

So for all his troubles, since he got lucky and didn't die, what does he get in return? Some recognition. "Thanks for not valuing your life, Chris!" This man is not a hero, he's a victim of a lifetime of indifference.
