The media here covered almost nothing of this case, mostly because the media here is leftist and the offenders were female and lesbians.

I've only known about this murder because of the internet, my older work colleagues never heard of this case nor my parents, just to show how criminal and biased this media/society is. If a man did the same he not only would be in every news but probably killed in his way to jail.

The thing about stories like this about absolute horror is that I get there are lunatics, psychopaths, sadists, and all types of mental cases in the world, but you like to think they are the exception in society, not the rule, and that the bulk of their horrid desires would be dampened out of fear of "normal" people discovering their sick, twisted, maniacal thoughts.

This is rarely the case. In whacked out cases like this, there are (more often than not) more than one perpetrator, which means that initially, one of them had to come up with the idea and propose it to the rest. At that point, the sane members of the group, you would think, would object. Yet, in these cases, they just kind of go along with it. In some cases enthusiastically! How the f does that happen?

Is morality and common sense of decency that broken down? Has humankind degenerated this horribly?
