I know this story from a documentary about antropologists misusing their position.

The women was just 11 years old when she was married of to the guy. The "long distance relationship" described here is probably the tribal marriage before she got old enough to actally be brought to america. These are years during which he was commiting peadophilia.

Bad example. I've also ready elsewhere about her. She's from an Amazon hunter-gatherer tribe who's language doesn't even have a word for the number 10. She didn't speak the language when he brought her to his home because she could only speak her own language. so she had about the worst kind of culture shock any human could have plus she also stated she was lonely because she couldn't even talk to anyone.
