By him pointing out the race and gender of the authors of books he’s read and then saying he won’t get anymore based on that - is in itself racist

Why can’t they just be GOOD authors and call them by their name? Who the fuck cares what race and gender they are

Yeah, my favorite Mexican rock radio station, the one I've been listening to since I was 15 had two of its veteran DJs leave after 20+ years of service. And who did they replace one with? I found out last night that it was with a female DJ who promptly set up a "feminine rockstar hour" which isn't so bad as I do like some female led acts like the Cranberries or the Cardigans. But then she started touching topics such as relationship violence which she assumes only women go through it. An dmind you, Latin America might still be full of machismo and misogyny, but ironically it has also made some of the most aggressive women out there who will berate you for not being a man. With that being said I turned the off the station.

Pretty much what "diversity" brings to the table.

Men saying these types of things are cringy as hell. They think by going along the mainstream PC Culture no one will mess with them and accept them. It’s beyond sad as well.

Once I was on twitter arguing with a woman who posted something about a guy messaged her and she found out he has a girlfriend or married and wrote that she’s going to connect his girlfriend/wife. Anyway I wrote something like it’s not your business and it has nothing to do with her. Anyway this guy kept commenting to helonher argue against me and kept telling me to shut up etc. I eventually posted a reply asking him why the hell should she go out if her way to contact this guys supposed wife/gf and He replied because “women helping women duh”. I was like dude what man even says that. It was the most cringy crap someone could say.

Anyway the guy in this post isn’t going to actually go and read whatever books someone recommends him he just wanted to act like he’s an “ally” and wanted to act like he hates white people and men in general since it’s what is PC.

I honestly couldn't tell you the race of the authors of most of the books I own. I do know there are very few women. I tend to read history, predominately military, and historically based fiction. Not many women writing that.

This really highlights the issue of forcing diversity for the sake of diversity. You are trying to achieve a goal here: better business. It is not a gendered or racial perspective, what matters is their credentials.
