Your only focus in high school should be obtaining as good of grades as possible. Everything else is just another thing you throw you off of your focus in life. Get good grades, get a good job. I'm not going to tell you to not date women but take it from experience they ruin everything.

The ONE TIME i ever tried to date a girl in high school was miserable for me. I took her to subway and we talked about stuff and generally hit it off really well. come back after lunch, give her a hug, and be happy for the rest of the day.

ONE DAY PASSES, and in the middle of art class I'm given a video on a phone via student courier that she's breaking up with me while crying in the girls locker room surrounded by what looks like every damn girl in the school.

You can believe that i felt like shit after that. I soon learned that as fast as we had gotten together the entire school was conspiring against us, creating terrible rumors and rude misinformation, and she couldn't handle it. I'll hate that high school and those people for as long as i live.

It's why i never went to the high school reunion. Same assholes that didn't bring me to the bar on grad trip because they thought me and my family would snitch.

One of my first relationships back in high school was a massive red pill. Looking back at what I know now, would I have wasted time on her.... No. I would rather have played MGT or gotten into D&D, but at the same time back then I didn't have the knowledge or the experience so that "relationship" became educational for me

Unfortunately most of us won't learn until we experience a certain amount of hell first. If that is you, then you should probably get it out of the way. That being said, I wouldn't put in an ounce of effort trying to find a woman. Wait for one to throw her pussy at you. If it doesn't happen, well then, it doesn't happen.

It seems like a paradox, but having this attitude will increase your odds of getting a girl anyway. They only want what they can't have. Truthfully, men are often the same way.

That statement is not true. I wanted to date a few girls back in HS, yet I didn’t because that would have distracted me from other more important goals. I have no regrets about those decisions, and in retrospect, they were excellent decisions.

Girls come and go, but many life opportunities come only once. You have to be ready when those come your way.

Tl;DR: IMO yes it is worth it for the knowledge and experience of dealing with women. If you never experience it for yourself chances are you will carry the feeling of regret of not trying buried within you. This can cause you to chase women later on and ruin your life when things are more serious outside of high school. So go ahead and give it a try but take care of yourself and don't be afraid to kick them to the curb when they start ruining your life.

I was utterly infatuated with a girl throughout highschool, but it never happened. I was in physical pain everyday I wanted her so badly. Would have gone to war for her. She was literally what I would have asked for if a magic genie granted me a wish.

Then a couple years after graduating I asked her out, made out with her, and was unbelievably dissapointed. It was like having my mouth attacked by a dry, lukewarm fish, like a grouper.

I felt absolutely nothing when we made out, no arousal, not even the feeling of "omg I'm kissing (name omitted) right now which I've dreamed about for the last six years". I might as well have been kissing a mannequin.

The lesson I learned was that you really don't know what you are missing, good or bad, so there isn't any reason in feeling regret for someone you haven't experienced. So if you don't end up dating who you want now, try not to think about them as being perfect, because it is more likely they are not.

On the other hand, you are only in high school so it may be worth it to try dating for the experience alone so you don't end up chasing women in your 20's and let them take advantage of you.

I spent most of my time in high school with girls and girlfriends, my grades suffered, my mental health suffered, and I had no idea of what I wanted out of life at all, but I was able to turn that around in college and get straight A's.

Therefore I feel it is better to experiment with girls in high school if you really want to experience it for yourself. Just maintain your boundaries, and make sure they are respectful of you or cut them out immediately. Try not to let them take over your life, keep an eye out for when you are being manipulated as they will do this all the time to control and persuade you. Never give up things you love to do for a girl either.
