Had this happen the other night at a holiday party. Very attractive very pulled together woman sits by me & because I’m neither an ass nor a wallflower, we strike up a conversation that’s moving along pretty well. But in the light from the fire I can see that she is made up to the nines. She does it well, it’s pretty subtle, but whatever is behind that mask surely isn’t what I’m looking at. & then we get to the teenage daughters. GAME OVER.

A buddy comes up to me later, kind of wants to rub it in that he got her number even though she referred to him to me as “the hedge guy.” I.e. he made a point to impress on her what he does & she doesn’t know shit about him but now she knows he can provide (but not what she thinks, he’s divorced twice and still paying child support.)

The temptation was like nostalgia... I remember what the charge used to be like talking to a pretty woman and knowing it was leading somewhere. In this case I excused myself to go use the toilet and simply walked away. I’d like to think my friend could wise up but it won’t surprise me at all if something happens there. She’s an attorney; that alone should be enough to ward him off, but it won’t.

Personally, rich and good looking are the only women I WOULD make an exception for. Obviously it's not common that rich AND good looking women settle for lower net worth dudes but I wouldn't mind being some rich girls mistake for a year or two.

When I was 21-23 I had a girls family pay for a few vacations where they paid everything for me just so their daughter wouldn't go alone. Back then I didn't even get it.
