Seems like the question then is, can you be adventurous without being un-secure yourself?

Typically adventure costs money/time and if you're not rich then you need your money, or your time to make more money.

Either A: You care about getting laid more than being financially secure yourself in which case, go be surfer Chad

Or B: You DO want to be financially secure ~ which I think most men would lean towards ~ which means being adventurous is a hassle unless you already have extra money to spend doing cool stuff

This is easy for me to see because I'm going through this as a young man myself. I feel like I'm wasting my time here on earth. I feel like I need to do more cool/fun shit. And I know that if I were to do so, women would come as a bonus. But I haven't made the money yet.

There is a great post on here from a few months back called Women's Need For Drama. It goes into detail about a woman's need for both anxiety and security. Very interesting read. Your post pretty much aligns with this notion also.

When I was a teenager I used to travel around the country. I played music (guitar) and had a lot of friends who were also musicians. Sometimes I'd be in a van or sometimes I'd just hitchhike.. Doing this all for up to a month with only $300.

I met lots of cute girls along the way, one time this girl working at a taco bell let me sleep on her couch and her mom made us breakfast in the morning and let me drink her "asshole boyfriend (mom's boyfriend" beer. I didn't sleep with her, but she was nice enough to take in a stranger.

I am a bit different from the average red pillar I think. Sort of an "on the fringes" type of person.. Or some might call "bohemian" by nature. I have accepted the fact that I'm an artist and not really capable of doing the "normal life" american dream.. Getting settled in a day job career and making lots of money. I am pretty happy though.

I am not rich. I am a working class kid from a working class family who grew up in a not so bad neighborhood but it was still kind of rough around the edges. When I'm home, I work odd jobs in restaurants and construction to get by and fund whatever it is I want to do next. I have been poor all my life, so budgeting and living within these means has always just been second nature. I spent a lot of my youth being disappointed with myself for never having that drive and desire to make money and get a career like some of my friends did who are married and have kids now. As hard as I tried, it just wasn't in my heart to do that kind of thing.. I felt trapped living that way.

If you want the safety and lifestyle a good career brings, by all means chase it. Some people are truly passionate about being a lawyer or a surgeon and making a lot of money. Others like myself need the adventure and off the beaten path lifestyle in order to feel sane and complete. It takes all types of people to make this world go around and not everyone can be investors, lawyers, and doctors.. So go with your gut is what I say. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Plus, you can always find a rich girlfriend if you're a good looking guy. Rich girls love starving artist types.

That's why having plates works so well. You're familiar and trusted, but also new and exciting.

Provided you do exciting stuff of course, especially in the bed. Problem solves itself by the way, you won't get plates when you're too boring.

and people go in places... they don't belong

an example: sneaking into a hotel's pool and hot tub. have it all for yourself or bring a plate for fun. whichever.

that's one I'll prob do, just to have a place I enjoy. thought of it, but many examples on the sub.

you could considor the guys adventerous taking trains and shit, but imo you gotta be really broke af to want to do that. many other things to do that are safer. (nobody cares how "alpha and adventerous" you are when you get beat by homeless drunks or mauled by a bear adventering somewhere.

be smart first and think about it logically then have your fun.

Even without fear of starvation, economic security is still a thing.

For a woman accustomed to the comfort and status that having money provides, the fear of losing those is a real fear. That's the whole point of AF/BB. Women want the economic security betas provide while also scratching their adventurous itch with Chad.
