Read the article. This is not a MGTOW issue, or a feminist one, but an economic issue.

The reason why this is now an issue is because of conflicting economic pressures on the breeding of pigs: they want less back fat because the meat sells better, but they need to have multiple large litters in order to satisfy demand. Unfortunately the industry cannot have both, as large litters need significant back fat in the females and that has been bred out of them.

If sows could still accumulate significant back fat, they would be able to breed well; but their meat, and the meat of males being raised to slaughter, would not be as profitable. However over the last few decades this back fat has been bred out of the pigs, so now even if the industry wanted to fatten up the sows they wouldn’t be able to do so (they will stay lean). The industry is caught in a catch-22, and are desperately reaching for any way to make the sows more fecund and provide more viable piglets while retaining the profitable leanness that has been bred into them.
