From childhood, boys are taught to be brave. I believe telling the truth is part of bravery.

When you tell the truth you are also opening up real-world options, which can include your own responsibility. You're facing reality, rather than slithering and sliding around it like a coward.

This i think, is why there is such a huge difference between men and women when it comes to lying.

It's not simply that "women have learned to lie to get their way because they don't have muscles". Few men try to muscle their way for anything, and we have long had strict laws and taboo against exactly that.

In contrast to men, women simply have zero interest in being brave, being seen to be brave or anything at all about bravery. It's as much interest to them as expecting a man to be interested in being pregnant, i.e. none.
