I broke eye contact but had a half smile on my face in response to be friendly. When we crossed paths again, she was looking right at me as I walked past but didn't smile. I just kept walking. We crossed paths a third time and she smiled again, but I did not reciprocate. I was turning the corner at the time so didn't have time to smile back, even if I wanted to. How much do you want to bet....if we would have crossed paths again (or if we cross paths again), she would have had a shit face look on her face?
