Many of the men in the penal system were victims of being raised by single mothers.

There's a reason why the mother is given the children almost all of the time, it's because they feed the system!

Single mothers turn their sons into criminals and the daughters they raise end up doing the same things to their husbands that they did to their's creating a vicious cycle.

If the family unit is strong then it creates an atmosphere where you won't turn to a life of crime.
