so i am from south east. and i heard a thought analysis from my friend who is studying in Australia and thought this is worth to post here .
He said that the immigrants who come to the west in general are well versed and talented and study real hard and work their but off and get jobs in these developed countries (mainly west ) and pay their taxes and yet they are willing to give permanent residence to the refugees who generally are illiterate and don't focus that much on studies and are usually causing problems in there.
just because they were suffering and i understand that life is extremely difficult there but its not like immigrants mainly scholars aren't poor and suffering their parents generally sell their own land one of major sources of their income and take further loans so that there children can study aboard and these are well mannered people who have no criminal history and they generally have fascination and respect for these countries unlike refugees yet these countries prefer the refugees to them when they want to give them citizenship and pr and green cards and what not.
Its like if they really believed in equality there should be some kind of test to see which one of them is more intelligent and sociable in these society. if they want to maintain the population shouldn't it be filled with more skilled and talented people instead of random people. and don't get us wrong here it's not like they want west to not take refugees they want to be expected in the society which seems not to be the case. still they also understand that if they are taking away job from the local people of these countries then ofcourse they don't want to do that.but it in other countries is highly unlikely.
So what do you think about it ? i myself was taken aback when my friend in Australia told me this things.
