This. Ive always maintained that part of being a fit parent is the ability to provide for their needs. such an obvious self evident fact overlooked because the state (with female votes) is geared up around stealing wealth from fathers to bribe female voters with.

In the 1800's, men got custody of children in divorce because only fathers and not mothers had the financial responsibility to provide for the children. And men were considered better disciplinarians, which was considered important back then.

Feminists came up with the 'tender years doctrine', that children, especially small children, need nurturing, and successfully changed the legislation to be in woman's favor.

And now, feminists complain that woman are expected to be the caregivers of children. When the supposed patriarchy was stronger, men got custody. Now feminists falsely claim it is the patriarchy which expects women to care for kids, when it was feminists who argued for it.
