Exactly, if we can understand this and go beyond it for ourselves, it will be great progress. Because at the end of the day, it is sex only binds men to women. There is no other reason for which a male might require a woman. Everything else he can get from a man (the special kind of emotional attachment/connection that we experience with women is an extension of sexual desire itself).

So raise your self-esteem by whatever way you can, defeat self-doubt.. and you will see sexual desire no longer has any grip over you. Because desire basically a results from a disparity in value spectrum where we are at the lower end of it. (Think about it, there definitely is a woman you know with whom you wouldn't consider having sex even when you are highly sexually charged.. there is always that line and that line could be pushed till the very end, trust me).

Once it is achieved, we are already beyond the need for women.
