Once had a female neighbour I was on good terms with. One day she called me off, telling me she was not interested in us being friends.

So henceforth I ignored her.

I later learned that she developed a deep hatred for me and tried everything to avoid me, because she feared I would hurt her. Because surely I must hate her.

Women don't understand it when men go their own way. In their limited world view everything is about them. And if someone doesn't treat them nicely, they most certainly must hate them. What childish world-view.

Do they mean being alone? Men can deal pretty well with being solitary and some will even prefer it

They cannot be happy and contented, they cannot just love a Man for who he is. Women are empty black holes of always wanting MORE... more status, more money, more tingles, and she is only as loyal as her options.

I'm married to a woman for stupid reasons, but my experience is relevant to this post.

Sitting next to her while she stares at the TV or her phone apparently counts as "spending time together" even though we're not interacting. When I leave to go play video games, or work out, or do a project she's fine with that. For about half an hour. Then she decides she's being ignored and starts complaining about being lonely, even though she's doing the same exact shit she'd be doing if I was there.

I get bored sitting there with her because I'm not pursuing my interests. She gets bored when I leave because she doesn't have my attention. This post is spot on.
