I'm curious about this. Ask men, and it's a one side story; SOCIETY or polygamy. But I know that can't be it, right? Most people these days seem to want commitment, personality, but they deal with people ditching them still.

Is it really that standards are high? Mental health? One expecting the other to reach out? Less confidence on both ends? Is the issue men, women, or both?

I'm asking main because I want a female perspective. Me and a lot of other guys would do anything to be loved, but I still see those that claim to have put in tons of effort and failed. I don't want to make this a sob story or some crap like that, but something's wrong here..
