I personally reduce work time, I work half time and enjoy life/hobbies more. Having no wife/woman in your life saves a shitton of money.

Totally agree, OP. I don't get that artificial womb ideas at all. What ever incentive would a sane thinking man nowadays could possibly have to have the urge to procreate? Spawn another CC rider or CC rider slave? Or losing your freedom for at least 18 years? And good point: the costs... Even in my blue years I was sensible enough not to procreate. I love my kids too much. I don't want them in this shitshow, plastic river/ ocean overpopulated landfill feminist hell what we call home.

The nice thing about that, is that if you then decided to have kids or marry because you went full retard, money isn't your problem, and kids don't have to want for anything, because you spent your time building your wealth and getting you past the stupid period of your twenties.

Skip that silliness entirely, and you get to do whatever you want. Dick around in the stock market, keep thousands of dollars on hand for pandemic emergencies. Not worry about checking your balance before you buy something, take trips, have whatever hobbies you want....

That is a loaded question because what do YOU require to live. No doubt you will smell like a rose as a single person but just how much depends on you. Do you require Patek Philippe watches, Versace suits and fine Italian sport cars or are you happy with a Times, levis and a Toyota?

Without a wife and kids you will be much better off financially. If you live frugally you can go very far, just by keeping your daily living expenses down.

I have two kids, and I love them dearly.

That said, I would get a shitload more done. Partially because I would just have a nice condo instead of a house. Yard work, while enjoyable, takes a lot of time to do properly.

I make 100k... with a wife who makes 60k and a 9 yr old son. I don't even want to think about how well my son and I could live sans wife. All the bullshit... sucks up an unbelievable amount of what should be a very comfortable income. But divorce rape is real, and around here she'd have to literally smoke crack while beating our kid in open court for me to have any chance... and even then it's a slim chance.

Well, if I had no kids, what would be my incentive for working my ass off like I do? Ha ha. I guess I'd have to have some kind of major financial goal and set a date to which I want to complete it by, otherwise, I'd work less and play more.

Kids really don't cost that much money at all. Most parents are fuck'n retarded, buying all kinds of costly shit for their kids for no reason at all, starting with a $800 crib, and $500 on baby clothes, etc. I bought none of that shit.

Mostly they cost money in FOOD. Otherwise, most all of their clothes were hand-me-downs from other parents (they outgrow clothes fast, so easy to get garbage bags full of free clothes from other parents, lost with the tags still on never used)... biggest expense would be things like dental costs, school trip costs, summer camp, etc., but most big ticket items like that are optional, so you can always opt out and keep it cheap.

Mostly it's just time, they take up a lot of your time and energy, to you don't have time and energy to do your hobbies etc., but that prob. saves you money. So, yeah, I could get a LOT done without kids if I had the motivation... could renovate my home, build a garage, travel around the world, but in reality, if you are single without kids... who gives a fuck about renovating, right? My buddy is like that, single, no kids, just retired, and he putters around, goes hiking all the time, hangs with his friends, bought a camper and travelled all through the usa and canada, before retirement he'd go travelling... also he owns his own house, all to himself, and has another smaller house he rents out, and two condos that he rents out too. Me... I'll be lucky to pay off my mortgage before I die. Ha ha ha. He's a super relaxed guy, no stress, never in a rush to go anywhere...

But if you want kids, adopt or surrogate some kids. Otherwise, get a good union job in the trades, and live it up.

I was planning on buying a second home this year and then in a year or two have one maybe two kids. I personally don't think kids are the problem it and it will lead to different life (not a better/worse one) and as I won't have to deal with their mother I will miss out on a lot of headaches.

Edit: Forgot to mention I can only afford this because I don't have any kids or wife.

Most i made in one year was $83k i gave alot of it away to people in need and bought nice gifts for family members. I rented a room off Craigslist for $300 a month. I realized I didn't need that kind of money so I got a new job making about $40k per year. Still just as happy
