I'm looking for tips to build social proof aside from the obvious ones (i.e. talk to everyone). I've been training my social skills for the past few weeks in order to improve at day game. Yesterday I talked to everyone I came across and number closed two HB8 blondes so things are going well. When I was out today I was conversing with the guy at Freshii who always makes my order and it occurred to me to ask his name since I go in so much. He told me his name then we elbow bumped and I left. I kind of happened upon on my own something that builds social proof: getting on a first name basis with everyone.

I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before but it also occurred to me that there's a ton of tips to build social proof that I'm missing, aside from the obvious one (talk to everyone).

Another thing that occurred to me was that empathy is ultimately key to building social rapport. It seems inquiring about their life is the best way to build a social connection. I still talk about myself though sometimes just to impart funny stories.
