It's not bad advice if your main goal is one-night stands with different women. That's the type of relationship you'll get with this advice. Basically what he's saying is focus on your career and make it big by the time you're 30. Once you hit that age, you should have a good amount of wealth accumulated as well as a steady career. You can use that to your advantage in the dating game and go for hot girls in their 20's. The thing is, this advice does work if you're looking for short-term flings with women. But if you think you're going to find a decent committed partner with this advice, then you're in for a rude awakening.

This advice only works if you're hitting on cute girls in their 20's who are low on money. If that's want you want, more power to you. But don't fool yourself into thinking these women will stay with you in the long run. They're using you for money (temporary monetary security). And you're using them for sex. It's basically soft-prostitution.

I don't like his gleeful undertone. The point of healthy relationships is being happy and making another person happy, not getting back at your college crush.
