Fun fact, just because an animal is a feline doesn't mean its a "Cat". A lion won't be friendly with you just because you feed it and are around it a decent amount. Its a lot of work if you want to interact with lions on an intimate level, usually including raising them from cubs as well as understanding and interacting with their pride as if you were a member. If you want to take care of a larger feline, I'd suggest you get involved with Cheetahs. They're actually a lesser Felidae, meaning they're apart of a different family and aren't actually a Big Cat. Unlike lions, Cheetahs can be domesticated to some degree, and have much more in common with house cats than Big Cats do.
