Earlier this year I started seeing this girl who was one of my staff (I am her boss basically) and we'd known each other a year before we started seeing each other. She is lovely - 21, slim, good looking, my type of style, not crazy, super chilled out, never nagged me about anything. I taught her cooking skills and she would always do everything I asked of her. We got along great, no super deep philosophical chats like i have with my friends, but that was absolutely fine. I don't need her to be as intellectual as me.

I told her to come and stay with me while lockdown was happening where I am, and we had a nice 10 weeks or so living together. Now lock down is easing and she can travel back to her place, she wanted to know where we stood and if there was a future together. Fair enough, to be honest.

For a while it had been playing in the back of my mind that her body count (apparently "not more than 30") from her time at university, was off putting to me. She'd shown me "10,000+ waiting likes" on tinder at some point before, and i know her attitude to sex was relaxed to say the least. After one night hanging out with her friends, her female friend made one or two small jokes about my girl's sexual past. And I hated it.

So I broke it off. She was sad, but accepting and one week later I imagine is moving on fine. But I'm sat here, nearly 30 years old, thinking did I just give up a chance of a stable, non-drama-filled partnership with a young sexy submissive girl, because her previous partner count was so high. And though there were other small things that annoyed me about her, it looks as though, yes, I did.

I've partied a lot. I don't feel the need to chase women any more. I have a good income, a high pressure job, and it was nice having a partner at home through that.

TL;DR - can anyone give me advice as to whether I gave up something good for a stupid reason?

Thanks.
