I think men are always striving for something 'more' than themselves. That's why men do well in regulated societies, like the military... not all, but most... men are looking for something... a belief... a creed... if they can't find it, guess who they worship?

As an atheist with very limited knowledge about religions, I still understand why religion was ultimately formed. The average person is fucking stupid and will destroy themselves if they are not kept in check. Religion was made to keep people in check. Religion is responsible for a lot of evils in the world (e.g. spanish inquisition) but it also did a lot of important things in the world. If you don't control people, they will go out of control and consume themselves.

You can see it in the current year where once religion is removed from the equation, men still have to find something to worship, and now they worship the golden vagina, which is even worse than worshipping God.

The modern day spanish inquisition? How about the woke left crowd deplatforming and censoring everyone to the right of Karl Marx, often resorting to violence?

The modern day crusades? Woke left stealing and taxing money from everyone else, the blacks' incessant calls for reparations, the communists declaring that they need to seize the means of production, etc.

The seven deadly sins are now "white, straight, male, cisgender, Christian, capitalist, republican".

The seven heavenly virtues are "female, black, muslim, transgender, poor, socialist, democrat."

I mean people who do actually do know more about religion and history could make more examples than this, but there are clear parallels.
