Long time lurker but using a a throw away because some people, including my bf know my handle.

I have been dating my BF for a couple of months now. He's generally a nice guy and we are compatible BUT: his ideas about money are very different from mine.

I believe that the man should be the provider and shouldn't depend on not expect the woman to ever pay. He doesn't believe that. He seems to think that since we both work, there's nothing wrong with me picking up the tab half the time

Is that weird? Or are my expectations wrong?
