How important is a mans social status? Or his ability to be comfortable in a strange, new social setting? I’ve been seeing someone for the past three months and he’s honestly amazing. He is gentle, kind, thoughtful, honest, loving, helpful, genuine, we have the same sense of humor, a lot of the same interests, he respects my boundaries and always speaks respectfully to me and to others. He’s a catch. We really vibe. He asked me to be exclusive (a week ago) I told him I would think about it and get back to him. He hasn’t pressured me for an answer and respects my need for time. The only catch is he is great in 1-on-1 but he kind of shuts downs in large social settings. I have a professional event tonight (and will have these types of events frequently) and I know it’s something I’d never be able to invite him to. I’d like to be able to bring a partner to events like this, but I know he wouldn’t be able to handle it. How important is this?
