When growing up everything is seen in rose tinted glasses. Everything seems bigger and better than it actually is. Especially your role models. You take everything they say as 100%.

Then I started to accumulate my own power and sense of self.

The Dogma everything had over you fades, for you were given knowledge, the weapon against ignorance.

I started to have realizations:

  • The world is not absolute, security doesn't exist.
  • Most people fail, few succeed. When getting older most learn to just live with their failures. And sometimes you'll have to as well. However, Don't beat yourself up. The world will do that for you. move forward.
  • Life is not a competition
  • Anyone can rationalize anything if they try hard enough.
  • Everyone fails, it just depends how we pick ourselves up. "Why do we fall? To pick ourselves up"
  • Progress isn't linear.
  • We’re born to grow, grown to die
  • Men start at the bottom, and women start at the top
  • Pain helps keep you grounded.
  • Society can either be your enemy or your ally. It's all on you. Have the world work for you not against you.
  • Distraction is your greatest enemy and it's everywhere be strong enough to handle it.
  • You get what you tolerate
  • Age doesn't matter experience matters
  • Words and appearance don't matter in the long run. Results matter.
  • Your on your own. Everybody is selfish. Everybody wants to prove, build, or satisfy their ego. And I mean everybody.

These are the realizations I've had, and a friendly reminder to myself when I fall along the path. In the end though there is no dogma. Everything is flux. Life is growth, change, and death. However not even those words can really describe life.

Life is an experience we all get once.

Experience it.
