For me I'm in the Army, and the majority of my weekdays are in the camouflage uniform. Every once in a while I'll see a girl I might consider approaching when I'm out about doing errands. But it feels way too weird to approach if I was in uniform. Since it's a military town, we're all dime a dozen. I highly doubt anyone in my area is really impressed. Meanwhile if the furst thing she sees is my uniform I'm afraid that's going to subcommunicate a lot of messages I don't intend. Like "Does this guy think I'll be into him because he's in the Army?" or "Oh this guy's a soldier all they are trying to do is fuck. Also in my opinion the Army duty uniform is not an aesthetically pleasing outfit.

I just feel like my mindset is making me miss a lot of opportunities through my day to day. It would be dumb to go all the way home from work, change, then do the errands I was going to do, but other than that I don't know what I should change. I feel like my opportunities and times I even encounter an attractive woman in this shit town are microscopic enough, and I can't figure out any kind of social hobby I would like. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
