I'm in a problem where some people aren't as receptive to me to my jokes, teases, lines, and etc. I do realize it's not really dependent on what I say, probably more on how the person might perceive me. I've seen other people throw corny jokes, but the same people who feel indifferent or annoyed by my jokes, are actually receptive to that guy.

Let's just say I'm hardly influential, I might say the right words, speak at the right tone, have the right body language, but it just doesn't feel right? I've got a feeling people might be thinking I'm arrogant, while others do it, they actually could be seen as charismatic.

What could be the problem? Social proof? SMV/Value? Comfort?
