Thanks LongTimeOn... my brother's been trying to convince me to join him in the matrimonial land of possibilities, and sometimes I stop to wonder if I really should roll the dice.

This is probably the best way I've seen it presented. Once she gets her long term goals: the family, the home, you're no longer a priority. She'll be on the internet and/or watching TV until the wee hours of the morning...but is perpetually too tired to make love. When she still wants kids, she'll initiate, making you feel wanted and desired. Once she has the kids she wants, it's starfish every once in awhile. If you ask most women going into a marriage, they'll say that they'll never be like this...and they'll honestly believe it. Once they get what they want...

This is why the MGTOW subreddit is so hated; it's one of the few places where young men can hear what lies in store for them. It's one of the few places where an honest discussion like this can take place.

Really sad. My dad hasn't gotten sex in years and gets very little gratitude for the things he does. He still thinks he's the lucky one in the marriage. Some people can't be saved

having kids killed my libido for years - down to the breast thing, they were for my children and for a long time, psychologically, when they were touched it felt i was involving my kids in a sexual act..

Interesting insight by a woman in the linked thread. Will remember that many woman evolve to a libido-less starfish after childbirth.
